How to get there
Fairy Glen Falls is about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from the village of Rosemarkie, which is on the Black Isle peninsula in Scotland. You can reach Rosemarkie by car or by bus from Inverness, which is about 15 miles (24 km) away.
There is a large car park close to the village at the start of the walk. You can also find some facilities such as toilets, picnic tables and information boards there.
What to expect
The walk begins with a gentle ascent through a grassy field with some sheep grazing nearby. You will soon enter the woodland and follow the signposts for Fairy Glen Falls.
The path is well-maintained and suitable for most abilities. It is also accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs until the first waterfall.
Along the way, you will see some interesting features such as an old millstone, a stone bridge and some carved wooden sculptures of fairies. You will also hear the soothing sound of water flowing over rocks and pebbles.
